Calling All Kids!
Applications to test this year’s DreamToys list are now open!
Did someone say Christmas? The countdown is officially on, and so is the search for our next generation of Mini Toy Testers!
Following the success of last year’s recruitment, we’re once again looking for eight lucky children to become the official 2026 DreamToys Mini Toy Testers, getting the chance to play with and review this year’s most exciting toys before they appear on the highly anticipated DreamToys list.
The DreamToys list is the UK’s most authoritative prediction of the most desirable new toys on the high street and is selected by a panel of independent toy retailers and experts from small independents to national chains.
Successful applicants will be invited to Birmingham on Friday 30 October to test each of the toys and report back on their findings, giving the list the official child stamp of approval ahead of its release.
Dream Prizes To Be Won
As well as getting their hands on an array of exciting new toys, the lucky candidates will receive the 15 prizes for themselves – just in time for Christmas!
To apply, parents or guardians simply need to complete the form below, providing details of their nominated child before midnight on Saturday 17th October.
Applications are limited to one entry per child. Any additional entries will not be considered. Eight children will be selected to take part, and proof of age will be required to confirm they are eligible for the age category in which they have been entered. Children entered into an incorrect age category will be excluded from the selection process.
The successful applicants will need to be available to attend the Mini Toy Testers day in Birmingham on Friday 30 October.
By accepting the prize, the winner’s parent or legal guardian agrees for their child to be included in marketing material, including promotional photography and filming from the event which may be used across the DreamToys website, social media platforms, participating retailer channels and distributed to local and national media.
